Training mini

Here a quick submission
I used a Space marine commander (first one ever painted) to use it as a training mini for different techniques which were:
- wet blending only (no multiple layers)
- Gems/eyes painting
- First real freehand
- First use of metallic paints
- basic custom basing (ok not really successful)
- black primed then top light grey airbrushed for highlight

Is this your first space marine or your first mini? Either way, that's great place to start. Nowhere to go but up!
