Okay, so like promised (like anyone cares) I have taken some pics of my current projects and am uploading them to PhotoBucket as I'm writing this. I'm sure this Blog thing was meant so that the masses can appreciate the few people who are actually good works in progress. I feel like I'm throwing a doodle into an art museum here.

Okay, so a brief run down is in order. I have been a 40k fan since I was about seven which equates to roughly 17 years in the hobby. Only problem is I only actually started painting 40k models about three months ago. Oh dear. I have, however, been making models and converting them extensively since I started; so it's not all wasted time.

And now for the excuse! I know my painting skills aren't much cop and it's a fact of constant frustration. I know I can paint well it's just...my hands! They shake. A lot. It's probably due to this illness I have but I'm persistant and no matter how many times I have to redo a section of armour or a face I will finish a mini! My worst experience thus far in painting was painting minute detail on a tank crews lapels. I aged horribly from doing that.

Okay, who cares about this. ON TO THE MINIATURES!

I had four armies. I've now merged it down to three; Traitor Guard, Chaos Marines and Ordos Xenos. All pretty much unpainted and collected over the years.

First up is my very first attempt at a horsey. It's from the recent Chaos Knights box-set. I'm using them as a basis for Traitor Guard Rough Riders. I haven't quite finished it as my girlfriend has stolen my Codex Grey.

Next up is my Traitor Guard Lieutenant. Made up from various bitz.

And here is a Traitor Guard Sergeant. Again made up from various bitz.

I'm hoping for some decent constructive criticism as I would really like to improve.

Thanks for looking

Hey man,
The pics are a bit dark but it looks like you have solid, smooth, basecoats. SLap on some highlights with thinned paint, and try to make the dark and light areascontrast. I don't mean to pry, but what disease do you have, if you don't mind sharing?
