Not really, I\'ve managed to stay debt-free for the most part the last 4 years. I have no credit cards (can\'t be tempted into buying things online very easily since I have to sweet talk people into giving me their credit card info) and have been living in the folks\' basement. It\'s a nice arrangement, I was able to get away with working half the year instead of 20-30 hours during the shool week.
Working government jobs 6 months a year didn\'t hurt, they overpay for easy jobs, just because there\'s so much BS involved.
I was about $5k in the hole at one point, but I put about 50% of my income last year into paying off debt and tuition, and the most of the rest into savings. Some came back out to buy the entire P3 paint range etc. lol
