when you think on it, the the Atomic Bomb is old news on killing masses of people... Biological devices are more practical..... less damage to the physical, easy to deliver and I would think easier to manufacture.

Sorry, but man needs no better weapon than his own two hands to destroy his fellow man..
While we may build nukes and call them deterrents.. Millions are slaughtered world wide every year with nothing more than clubs and machetes and rocks.

On a History or Discovery channel show, it was claimed that up until the use of nuclear weapons, deaths due to war thoughout history had been rising steadily (having reached ~50-55m by WWII). After, deaths per year due to war dropped to an average of one million and have stayed there.
I tried to find some data and sources to either refute or support this claim but have had a tough time weeding it out of all the other death stuff on the internet. Anybody know?

1. Major powers avoid big wars, due to nuclear deterrent. Their \"proxy wars\" are usually small and low-tech.
2. Ubiquitous, massively available small arms such as assault rifles and grenades make every little ethnic conflict in the developing world into a bloodbath - each one \"small\", but a new one is starting every few months.
The big killer of the 20th & 21st centuries is this:
Sadly, the man himself was a patriot who designed a powerful rifle to protect his homeland, not butcher innocent civilians.

Yeah I think most understand they day they let the bugs do the fighting were all done..Virus\'s have a way of adapting and surviving.

My grandfather was a very accomplished metal worker in the Mare Island shipyards during WW2. The government came to him and said - \"Mr. Lux, we need you to make this \'thing\' (grandpa died and we never found out what that \'thing\' was) and it had to be perfect and it was ABSOLUTELY secret. After the war ended the gov. came back with a certificate thanking him for his contribution to making The Bomb...............
