Hello

Well here is another figure for my local hobby shop, goes with the troll I did recently. I was asked to paint these up to the colour scheme from the Privateer press catalogue but got a bit carried away with the first (they don\'t mind to much) ,so I tried to stick to it this time.
It was fun to paint and a good chance to practice some nmm.

The picture quality is a little bit iffy, but the style of this is groovy. Very cartoony and bold, which I like when it\'s done well and this is.

The dark NMM and the bright blue is a really nice contrast and the glowing yellow gives it an excellent extra pop (although I think it\'s a little bit heavy. Could do with finer brush work).

All in all a very good bit of work.

Oh, and the tartan is cool!

Another nice one - the NMM makes the metals look really nice n heavy, really smoothly done.

Have you got any more Hordes stuff to do for the shop - it\'ll be a hell of a display when its done, I\'m sure!

Thanx all, glad you like it.

@Freakinacage - personal I think the red of the Tartan makes the mini stand out a bit more. How come your not to sure on it?

@Countersunk81 - I\'m still pretty new with the NMM technique , only just recently trying out some larger areas on some mini\'s.
I also have a Skorne Titan to do for the shop, so will hopefully get to work on that one soon.

@Arma- Hmm let me try to recall. From a white undercoat i used a base coat of Ice blue, then applied a slightly watered down Ice blue with a touch of black mix to pick on the recesses. Then with Ice blue again I picked out the main skin and to highlight I just added a bit of white to the blue. I try to use the transparency of the watered down paints to create a bit more depth.

This figure looks great! The only thing I don\'t like about it is the orange.....I don\'t get it. Is it a marking or something else? I don\'t think it reads clearly. Everything is just right.
