Trumpeter Paint Mixer

Does anyone have the Trumpeter Paint Mixer and if so does it fit in the Reaper / Vallejo bottles?

Thanks.

Why don't you just put a bead into the bottle and let that act as an agitator? I use very high-grade stainless steel ball bearings in my Vallejo pots (sometimes two) - I can dig the link to the place out (it was something like £6 for 100 off eBay).

I use glass beads in my secret weapon washes which also come in dropper bottles.

Or you can buy a milk frother in IKEA or a dollar store and cut the spring thingy in the base and you have almost exactly the same thing for a dollar or two.

hi all, thanks for the responces. Ive tried the bead thing but I cant shake the bottles that much with my hands the way they are unfortunately. It seems to be just a couple of colours that this happens badly with the others beads and a quick shake rattle and roll and they are good to go. The Vallejo Scarlet and other reds though are a giant pain in the backside.

Been looking round for something cheaper and more generic MrIxolite didn't realise I could cut the spring of the frother. The mixer I got only cost £6 so its not broken the bank. Turns out its exactly the same as the badger one, for about £7 cheaper. Needed to grind it down a bit but even then those reds are refusing to mix, I think it could be the size of the bottle so im going to decant them into some larger tubs and mix them there. It could just be that ill have to bury them but ill keep trying :)

The reds in the new GW line are all really nice. I know pots, but they are great and you could transfer them to droppers.

If they don't revitalise ill have to look at another brand of paint, ive been told the foundry ones are nice, I don't object to GW (almost called them citadel) paints but there a little pricey.

P3 & Reaper are great alternatives, also look into duncan acriylics, massive voodoo did a review on them and they look pretty nice and come in rather large quantities. PK-pro has them in their online store. I have also heard great things about Andrea and Scale 75. Really, as hobbyists we are pretty spoiled for choice when it comes to paint these days. To quote Barney Gumble: Just hook it to my veeeeiiiiins!
