Trying out to paint NMM - NEED HELP !

Hello :)

I need some help. I try out to paint NMM !

What to you think?

I think this is a little bit to white ?

I must agree with you, I think that the white is too bright. But the difference between the two halves of the sword is the right way to go. The top half needs to be transitioned up to a white \"Glare\" point
The Golden sword hilt is looking much better by comparison. It\'s much better than I\'m achieving at the moment.
Take a look at Arkaal\'s pictures, as I\'m sure he has a website which gives a good pictorial guide to NMM.

Go to http://en-forum.confrontation.fr and look in the Creative Workshop forum. Check under \"Ark\'s Painting Tips\" for information on how to paint NMM, what colors to use, ect. This helped me a great deal.

I don\'t know what it looks like in real life (never seen nmm in real life), but on this photo, i ctually really lilke the effect you have achieved here. It looks like a really shiny sword to me.

Well the first one (right hand pic?) was pretty damn good, but the new one looks even better, pretty much perfect as far as I can tell.

Now could you explain in detail exactly how you did it, because I really can\'t get silver NMM to look right... :(

damn you for being so talented! that\'s a lovely bit of nmm. are you sure that you havent just put in a small real sword there?!
