Yeaahhhh CAMEROOOO! The troll hunter story is flawed though. All they'd have to do is find a bulky midget with a mohawk and give him an axe. Now i'm no expert, but in my reckoning, Midgets with mohawks have been jacking up Trolls for a long time with unrivalled success.

Yeah it's looking really nice, can't wait to see it finished....so much to do so little time cause everyone wants to see it all! How's the vampires coming along? That dragon looks sick.

So neither of the pictures captures the true color, but it's a WIP, so whatever.

Yeah, I always get the two mixed up - I can never remember which double-dilute is which. lol! Then throw champagne into the mix and - OY! I've got reference sites bookmarked but most of the time, I'm too lazy to pull 'em up when I'm posting.

I wasnt quite sure where you were going with the cloak initially but now i see its starting to make sense, now all you have to do is pull yer finger art n finish Lol

Making sense, eh? We'll see if we can fix that.

The inside of the cloak (maroon right now) is going to be like that lining in fur coats.

I think it's looking good Tryst. Are you going to fade the flags a bit more or did you decide to keep it a bit more vibrant? Or am I ahead of you?
That blue flag looks great...loving the little details on fleur de lis. Lining in fur coats....the shiny satin stuff? Anyways, I'm sure it'll look great, it's already coming along well. And yes, the horse looks very well done too, forgot to mention that earlier. I think the creme color was a good choice.

As for the horse color, I have to give our resident horse fanatic credit for that one.

And the flags, well, we'll see once I get the lining and the last flag(s) done. It may get toned down, or maybe not. I don't know yet

Thanks Marjedi. It feels good to be getting back into this guy.

What amazes me is that no one has painted him (or at least no one that posted to CMON). Even Gamezone doesn't have box art for him. Which is a shame, since it's such a great figure.

I like the look of many of gamezones minis, but the few i have bought have been horridly cast, very poor parts fit and waaayyy to much to clean up. So i stopped buying then

I had to do a little filling on the horse, but none on the rider. Maybe I just got lucky.

And Kath - 80mm vs 54mm. She's not that much bigger, although that's mostly due to her pose.

Omg my gf always wanted me to paint one of those andrea miniature pinup models....hide it quick before she spots it. Untill i figure oit how to shoot highlights with my airbrush im too scared too tackle painting skin like that

Haha it really is going to be fun to work on. It's so different from everything else. I've been a vintage pin-up fan for a while now, so the fact that they make this line makes me giddy. In fact, she's already sanded, prepped, and primed. I've moved her to the front of the line. Painting commences today!
