This is getting too easy for you...switch to 15mm minis. Besides the challenge there is less to paint, so you will finish more;)

She turned out well.... The Not Nr 6...

I actually met Tricia Helfer, the actress that played Nr 6 in battlestar once. As i told her, nr 6 would be the only cyborg that i wouldnt mind being "assimilated" by. Cool as she is, she replied with a wink and smile "Resistance is futile".

beautiful work on all of them Tryst. the phrase "it's not how big is is but how you use it that counts" comes into mind when you mentioned that tiny brush...

So - Gnosis Kara (the one on the right).

Some say she has a head that's too small. I wonder why someone would wear a huge armored suit and leave their head hanging out. There was talk on the Studio McVey boards of adding a canopy. That would solve both problems! So I went ahead and added it. Still needs to cure and be sanded.

Talk about a change of pace - 2 and a half hours got me this far. Yellow is a tricky color though, and all these flat panels make shading a little trickier.
I primed black, basecoated dark brown, then went from dark brown to medium brown, medium brown to light brown, light brown to yellow, and yellow to white. It's going to be slow going, but I want this one to shine.

Why didn't you just prime in brown? >:)

The yellow is looking very good though, that's a nice shade.

Looking good. The yellow shading is very nice and I love the helmet you added. Very cool. I can't tell if you're already doing it or not, but on those flat panels adding a slight gradient can help. Of course if you plan to add battle damage later that can also break up those flat surfaces.

@Meph - because I only have black or white primer? Haha
@Bailey - there is a little bit of gradient, but there will likely big damage/wear/markings of some sort to help too.

Looks good Trystan, but ever since you added the hatch it looks like a teenage mutant ninja turtle in battle armor with the new hatch being the eyebrow ridge and top of the head.
