Speaking of, I need to give you guys an update. Which I will, as soon as this glue dries. Not done, but getting there.

Still need some patch fabric around the fins, and the glue needs to dry.
Then it needs a game base, and the observation basket attached. Then painted.

I'm just focusing on the one now - the second one can happen later.

Anyways, back to our regularly scheduled program.

Picked up a bunch of Malifaux a while ago, but only got around to playing recently.
Figured I should probably have a painted crew.

Primed the rest of the crew (well not Nekima, or the Freikorp), so as soon as big and smelly here is done I can knock out the tater tots and Lilith.

Only catch is since I pledged deluxe, I'll be getting the resin versions of the Pilgrims at some point. So I'm not going to go all out on these ones. Anyways:

i can't unsee the monkey!!!!

Love the Monkey King mini from that set. I sooooo wish I'd had the extra cash for that kickstarter at the time

Thanks! The minis are actually really nice. And they come pre-assembled, which makes for quicker playing. It's a nice little co-op game.

Gold still needs some work, and a lot of the brown is just base coat right now. Was going to freehand the "kimono", but with the resin coming at some point and this being ultimately a game piece I decided against it.

I have also the core game! They did a good job for a first try! The plastic miniatures are nice and highly detailed... I have painted a bull and finishing Zhubajie (pigsy in english), Monkey king is my next victim.
You did a nice job. you will need more highlight to make it less dark unless it is made on purpose!
