Turncoat and Regroup and Reform interaction

Player A is a Free Folk player and Player B is a Lannister Player. It is player A's turn. They play Regroup and Reform on two of their units, one of which contains a Turncoat placed by the Lannister player. The Lannister player then decided to use the Turncoat's ability. The Free Folk player moves the Turncoat to a different unit as part of Regroup and Reform's effect. What happens?

A. The Turncoat resolves Sabotage and Subvert for the unit it's now in.

B. The Turncoat's ability fizzles, because the ability is granted to the unit by the Turncoat attachment, and has to resolve on the original unit to have effect. (If this is the case, is it considered to have used its "once per game" trigger?)

C. Or something else weird
