Regarding Twink, to me that is an MMO term for players who buy or are given items way too powerful for their level to give them an unfair advantage. For example I had a Mug of Hurt in WoW which was considered a Twink item and for using it I was called a Twink. Personally I just loved the fact my Orc bashed people\'s heads in with a mug of ale.

I\'ve heard it used in a similar context in ttRPGs too. See also Munchkin.

I\'ve always thought of twilight as going against the \"classic\" portrayal of vampires and werewolves, which, in and of itself can be a good thing, but not when you ignore certain facts like:

• Vampires burst into flames when they go into the sunlight, that, or instant sunburn.
• werewolves are buff (look at the asian guy. I see no abs.)
• Werewolves ARE HAIRY! seriously!

Why can\'t we get something good and purposeful in the box office, like Forrest Gump, or The Patriot, or something?

Yeah, I like to add intent there too. Is something insulting if it wasn\'t intended? Obviously you can take offence to something that wasn\'t intended to be, but really we should learn to grow a backbone sometimes and look at intent as well.

At the end of the day I guess Twilight is a case of Disney does Horror... Like with the narnia films Disney did LOTR ...
