Two fun mini-related projects

Ok, so I haven't posted any actual minis in a while, but I have been doing something mini-related. :)

I have posted pics of my hand=made paint rack and brushwasher in the "tips" section of my website

I made the paint cabinet because I generally paint in the nicer living room and needed something that looked respectable and that I could close.

The brushwasher is made from parts taken from an old cassette walkman. My son loves gears and pulleys so we took one apart and when he was done playing with it we took the parts and made this sort of practical toy. He, of course, loved it!

(also pictures of candlesticks I made for xmas gifts, but not mini related)

Apparently something is going on with the links but if you right-click and save you can see them. Sorry.

I hope you enjoy them.

That Brushwasher made me titter :good: Fabulous garden shed projectry :) These devices could have their own section in the Tips & Techniques sticky, there was the recent jigsaw that was strapped down to shake paint that somebody posted. Any others?

Oh, nice carpentry too.

Cheers, B.

Thanks guys. Yeah, it's pretty steampunk, haha. My boy would be decidely less interested in the finishing though, I'd be on my own. Maybe I can start a side business making steampunk-themed mini painting accessories. :)
