Really nice work, I actually like the bretonian better, although I think he may also fit well in a witchhunters retinue with minor changes. I can see why the other would score better however, a bit more edgy and eye catching and unique. However both show the quality of your skill.

Good stuff! I think both of them are about equally good. Voted on them both. You got some impressive talent!

The skinny-arse thing with choppy sticks is absolutely great. The way you\'ve blindfolded him and used the bandaging to strap around the weapons and secure them fills it with character. It puts me in mind of some of the warped looking characters Dave Gallagher sketched in \'Blood on the Reik\'. A high 9 for sure.

The Bretonnian (One t, double n, like Britannia I guess) is also extremely nice and I can\'t fault the sculpting one bit, but it looks quite similar to GW\'s Grail Pilgrims so doesn\'t quite hit me with that wow factor though. It’s still a good 8 and at a standard that I\'d love to achieve.

....it looks quite similar to GW\'s Grail Pilgrims....

hehehe!! yup the bottom half is an almost exact copy of one of them, the top half being a slight variation of the same. Did I mention that it was a test piece for a job that didn\'t exist:D

thanks for the comments and votes, very much apriciated. I have another three sculpts on the go at the moment, hopefully they will be up by next weekend :)

Those are really awesome! I gave them a 9 and a 10. I really am so bad at sculpting that I always am awed by works like these. Are you thinking about casting and selling some? I saw the skinny-arse guy and had some ideas for ways I could paint him. I would also like to have a go at the Brettonians face/eyes, because it is well sculpted and defined by the looks of the pictures. Keep up the awesome work.

Exellent work,I\'d lie to heve a crack at them! On a personal level the Brettonian is my favourite,it would look great with the others! ;) Skinny is awesome though,I really feel sorry for him and his weapons are naughty....very original! Cheers :D

So Capt., what are you going to do with them? They need painting surely? I\'ll have the Bretonnian/Brettonian/Bretonononon :) Serious! lol

well the brettonniann-a-nan cant realy be cast, as mentioned above it\'s pretty much a coppied figure, done as a test piece.

Although if anyone wants to swap me a copy of hybrid for it then let me know :)

(yeah it\'s cheeky but what the hell:D )

skinny-arse is already cast and I\'m looking into a few things with a couple of mates. Best go make somethig though cos one figure on it\'s own is a great range:D

There\'s always this one Rev:

the original

this was the figure that i was given to copy. Although in the end there was no job. last time I take career advice from the Matrix

\" dont try to get the job, that would be impossible. Instead, try to remeber that the job doesn\'t exist\" :D

Voted on both, great work! Really love the Brettonian! Any chance he\'ll ever get cast?

morning.

@grumb: sorry bloke, but the bretonnian cant be cast, at least not in that state, he is way too close to G.W. IP. If I change him a fair bit then it\'s possible, but not that likley :(

@provoke_me

sculpting in fimo is pretty different to sculpting in green, fimo is a lot less adhesive for a start, but it does hold an edge a lot better with less re-working of an area.

Is it easier to use than green? well that depends, do you like the idea of sculpting a figure that remains wet and changable untill you bake it? ( which in my case is either the whole figure completed or everything but the arms ) If so then give it a try.

I sculpted in green for several years but find fimo much better, whereas after a conversation with SJB he tried it and decided that he prefered green, it\'s very subjective.

@minimaker: thanks :)

and thank-you nice voting people, both are now over 50 :D

heres a wip of one of three that I\'m working on at the moment, the lead leg looks kind of strange from the angle that the photo is at.

this was a shot taken just before the back foot was finished and the first bake.
