hey guys, here\'s another model in progress. The things on his left hand are a sculpted book and some butterflies I made using the tutorial(very cool) so any criticism you guys can give is appreciated. Thanks:D

Is this a stock GW model? If so which one?

Looking very nice Mathew, the cloak blendings is super smooth, possibly the best i have seen you do, it looks like its colour shifting. Kinda like a two tone car.

Can\'t really see the sculpted bit clearly because of the undercoat, but it sounds like a sound idea.

It\'s mostly a stock model besides the book(it\'s in the hordes of chaos fantasy section on GW online). and the sculpted bit is just a book with butterflies peeling off the page.

Nice.... love the color scheme. Hope to see a better pic as you get closer to finishing tho. The conversion is very good.

Nice work there. I love the mix of colors... very Tzeentch. The conversion looks very simple yet it gives the mini a comlpetely different look!

I\'m sure Bill will be the best to advise for this, but may I suggest:

I like the model, love the painjob so far, although I would love it more with bigger pictures. One of the better looking Tzeentch models I have seen.

How about Queen Alexandra\'s birdwing butterfly?

Or Cairn\'s Birdwing...

or Rajah Brooke\'s Birdwing...

Queen Alexandra\'s has a wingspan of almost 30cm, so would fit in nicely scale wise too :D These butterflies are all pretty huge though.

The mini is looking great. I love the pink tones, and he looks really glowy :D

Cheers

the face looks a bit grainy and it seems like the butterflyes hvae to rough wings but i really like the colour of the robe and cant wait to see it finished.

Overall I think it\'s looking good. The orange edging around his robes has me in two minds, is it supposed to be NMM gold or just orange? Either way I think it needs more highlights and shading around these bits.

Guessing the staff isn\'t done yet and get a move on with the butterflies because I\'m interested to see how they turn out.

a days worth of work done and I am still debating colors for the staff head and the champion\'s feathers, other than that, everything is planned out and the butterflies will hopefully be done by tomorrow. I darkened the NMM a bit and I think it\'s a step closer to being believable Please leave comments, thanks.

Looks very good! I would say for the feathers o f=go with very bright Blue and red (orange too) same with the bird on the staff, make it look like a phoenix!
