ugly's speed painted zombies

so i decided to see how fast i could get 1 set of zombies painted to a decent table top level. so 34 zombies took me 10 hours but i still need to add a protection coat but i may want to add a few more details too not sure. Before starting i had 2 basic skin base colors and then would add differnt washes to create more variety through the mob. As far as cloths i just grabbed a pot and started painting then i would use the same color on a different possed model, that way there was some consistancy through the mob yet plenty of individualism. not much variety with the fattys though. so here are some pics. i will tackle the heroes at a later date and put more time and quality into each of them.

Looks good for 10 hours. The women's dresses look a bit odd because of the color combinations, but who said the undead had any fashion sense to begin with?!

I was stumped with the womans outfits too. The woman reminded me of the 50s style so i thought blocks of bold colors would work. I wanted to keep away from red clothing since i knew i would be adding a little blood and i wanted to keep things on the brighter side, because i knew things would go dark quick when i started to add washes to make them look a little dirty.
As i was painting them up I kept thinking lots of people wouldnt be caught dead wearing these outfits so wouldnt it be funny if they turned into zombies on there worst fashion day.
i may do more zombie runners in the orange jumpsuites with the other two boxes so they look like a prison break group.

LOL. Love the "caught dead" thought. Think the prison break idea is interesting. Should you feel the desire, broken ankle chains, handcuffs, and give each one their own number would be cool details.
