a bit of a grey area for me at the moment i may or may not be working for gw by then so i may be there as staff or i might be able to get away for the gd if my life gets sorted out by then.

Are you are a Games Day Judge now?

that mini is much better than the top 3 from 2005 by far.
Were you there last year? Did you see Banjo\'s mini IRL?
Tact and Diplomacy= Nil Points!
Marmoset: No one can guarentee anything about GD\'s or young bloods , People I have seen go in there and I was certain to get through First Cut didn\'t.
All I can guarentee is that if you try hard enough the people as CMON will appreciate the effort at the very least.
And from what we have seen so far you\'ve got some talent.

Gez,

Thank you very much for your kind praise. But it isn\'t fair on me or last year\'s winners to say that I am better than them; if you have seen them in the flesh yourself and formulated an opinion of your own, fine. But if not, it is unkind to demean their efforts, which I believe are in fact better than my own by far :) As for guaranteeing I will win, thank you very much for that as well, but not even the judges can guarantee that, and I doubt you are a judge yourself. So thank you lots for your kind praise, all I\'m saying is don\'t over-enthuse to the level where you are saying things like that, and don\'t expect too much of me! lol

Happy painting

Straight from GW\'s online store:

Games Day Entry tickets:
Price: £32.00

Games Day is Games Workshop\'s premier event in the world. It is our largest promotion and a day designed to highlight the size, splendour and excitement that is our hobby. Each year, excited hobbyists from across the world attend this one-day event in their thousands, eager to come together in celebration of the hobby and participate in some of the many games, seminars and activities that have all become synonymous with Games Day.

Please note that Games Day tickets are only available to White Dwarf subscribers until July 1st 2006. You can however purchase a ticket at the same time as a subscription here.

32 notes! Ouch! And that doesn\'t include travel costs.

Sureley not another price heist! (must resist...!)

All I can say is that they bloody better have made it £7 betterer than last years, (or maybe they intend on giving away \'free\' sprues again and this is to cover that cost... must resist...)

Will be there but have scrapped the idea of carpet bombing the categories and will concentrate on one or two great (IMHO anyway) pieces rather than the theory that if you throw enough S**t at a blanket then some will stick!! I made the first cut last year, and my realistic goal now is to get one of my models on the big telly\'s they now have.

May apply for a job as a baggage handler at Birmingham airport nearer September to give us limeys a fighting chance against the Spanish and the French!lol

If the NEC can hold 10,000 people that\'s £320,000.
Excuse me but WTF is the cost of hiring the damn place.
For this price I hope that it\'s including a sit down 3 course banquet!
Dream On!

Oh and here\'s me starting another GW bash...............Buggar!

Hum ... I might be wrong but it rather looks like you can still get the ticket at 25£ and add in the mini for 7£.

Trying to scare off the continentals Mike ;)?

Pretty sure the GD tickets are still £25 this year. There\'s less than 10,000 tickets sold. About 7-8000 I believe. Plus all their staff have to be paid for the day.

No idea how much the NEC costs to hire but I\'m betting a lot. Not hundreds of thousands but I\'d expect tens.
