I was thinking about the area near to the \"Golden Deamon Repair Table\" around 11:45. Two reasons :
1 it\'s away from the Main doors and close to a corner where we can Inhabit (or nfest take your pick) without burly security people trying to give us earache. (as if we take any notice anyway).
2 It\'s close to the Pretties...

I look forward to meeting everyone. I will be staying in Nottingham the week before (arrive the 20th) the event and coming by coach from Warhammer world. I should be easy to find as I can 100% guarantee I will be the only guy in a bright orange shirt with the Cincinnati Bengals Logo on it. Its our professional NFL football team Bengals

A question about Nottingham from the locals, I know the city pretty well Ive been there a few times now, but other than GW is there any independant game stores in town or model shops that might sell Vallejo paints as I may need to do some touch ups yet and I dont want to bring paint over with me. Also any place I might be able to sit down and paint for a while?? feel free to PM or email me with info.

We (Ben Komets, TIN and meee..^_^...) will stay in a Hostel in Birmingham, as it seems... Sooo... Anything we have to consider...??... Maybe some areas we should avoid, maybe interesting things to see...?...

Up on Broad street near the NIA where GD use to be held is Night club after Night club and resturaunts. Lots of Pubs and stuff to do Great night life area.


And somebody mentioned Girls... Teheeee...^_^...

@DFD - In the town centre there is a shop called travelling man. I know they do a lot of RPG stuff and they also stock Warmachine, they\'d be your best bet for vallejo in Nottingham.

Travelling man is above Gamestation, you go in the Gamestation entrance and up the stairs. Gamestation is on the street at the far end of the square opposite the Council House (IIRC its somewhere between Greggs and the Odeon )

I should probably apologize for the state of Nottingham city centre at the moment, they\'re remodelling the whole of the square so it looks like a giant building site at the moment

GD repair table 11:45 sounds good We\'ll have to make sure not to all say \"hey dragonsreach,\" \"how\'s it going demonherald?\" etc. or we\'ll look even more freaky than the general GD populous This year I\'m only entering YB (Lord Castor), but I\'ll bring along my grey knight and blue ogre for the hell of it, though I probably won\'t enter them (and of course I\'ll bring the Vosty ).

my duel entry has been stripped twice. you name, it\'s gone wrong with all of my entries. i\'ve not had this much bad luck painting minis since that bleedin\' heat wave.

on the bright side, i have one entry finished. unconverted and no longer in production.
the only way i could be further from winning is if i had handed them an un opened blister pack. lol

Duel seems a popular category this year, I can\'t wait to see all the entries.
My first GD in 8yrs and I am actually excited.

All I need now is another couple of months so I can get my entry finished.

My ugly mug is in the PYP thread and I will probably bring some of my other minis. If I have time to repair all the damage on it I will bring my sword winning battle scene from many moons ago.

Its gonna be great.

Matt, I know the place..right next to the Bell Inn right? Ill have a look.

As for the city center being a shambels..it was 2 years ago..they havent finished yet?? Have th got the trains in the city running yet?

Also do you know of where I might find a laundry mat, I know of the one on Denby Road..Doaby Wash I think its called but thats all the way on the other side of town from where Im staying. Ill be in the Hyatt in the city center.

Not a real one thank God! Its a major redevelopment of the shopping area in the middle of Birmingham. There is a huge bronze ststue of a bull there.
