So have I, it\'s just difficult with a flat battery and no credit!

My day is mapping out, get whisked from rural East Yorkshire by the kindly Brett/Darklord to the NEC, Queue for a bit, Queue again, fix my entry, hand it in. Rush to the Forgeworld stand to pick up my order (very small). Look at the as yet unreleased stuff (I\'ll never buy), fight to look at the GD entries. Then bugger off to the pub to swallow raw eggs around Nigel to try and make him sick.

Followed later on with trying to swap my diorama for pints :beer::beer::drunk:

Sadly at the hotel prices, half a shandy.

someone may have to find me and drag me to the tables as i can be increadibly shy about meeting people for the first time, especially if theres a lot of them.
ill probably be wearing black with a leather jacket and have a wooden paints box with a red unifrog on top of it and be looking totally sleep deprived but i should think that goes for most people on GD lol

As for tiredness, Make sure you stock up on caffine. Works for me.

to spot a girl at Games day you just look for a round space in the crowd surrounded by strange looking teenagers staring intently at something in the middle of this human ring .. trying to decipher what exactly this is that has entered their world and what exactly are those lumps on the chest used for ..is it extra armour?? Dice Bags???? maybe a strange form of futuristic mumps .. who nows.....who knows..........

haha so true, Conflict scotland did have a fairly good amount of women there though and it was a woman who won two golds as well.

i even get weird looks from most of the kids in the games workshop stores....even stranger looks when i bring out something like my chaos spawn. i think the staff have got used to my random insanity by now...i hope.

dice bags? i really hope they dont try to find the dice...

I never noticed any stares - but then I\'m not the sort of girl that gets them :D

I always find people ready to chat though - and they\'ve all been really nice.

I don\'t get funny looks in the GW stores any more - but I like to freak people out now and again and turn up wearing a skirt. I wore a dress to the Platoon Britannica meet - it\'s not a common phenomenon.

There seemed to be loads of goth girls at GD last year looking bored. A few mums were at the scenery tables and they kept asking me in horrified tones if I actually partook of the hobby!! :(

I\'m going to be wearing a t-shirt with \"Blood, Sweat & Tears GD2008\" on it this year - I\'m thinking about putting \"Boris\" on it as well - just in case of amnesia.

Being married to a woman and having 3 daughters I am really glad we will have some ladies come along.I wont feel so insecure surrounded by all you aggresive male hunks !
