UK GD 2008

I\'d seen the 14th as a date in a US figure mag with the US GD dates, wasn\'t sure if it was definate though given rumours of issues with booking problems.

Looks like it\'s different to Euro then :)

Now that might mean that depending on when they fly me out I might be able to attend after all :D :D

Best I start painting something for this year after all :D

maybe people should start putting bets on what forgeworld model will be entered and place before it is available to the public. lol

I know what you mean though but how else can GW say they have the best painters even if they only work for them occassionally on a short contract...

Or alledgedly to have clauses in their contract allowing them to enter ANY category.
Got it confirm from my GW store manager 14th Sept is correct. That would have been my Grandfathers 105th Birthday, so it\'ll be easy for me to remember.

I might actually paint a model for gamesday this year, every year I leave it too late and end up having to enter a model from my army......only so many times u can enter an empire captain. Although if I enter one more I get a free large drink.

14th of September, thats great for me as i will still be on holiday from uni :D

whats even better is that i have some entry ideas in mind already. already know i wont place but it\'ll b good to enter, cant live of my youngblood honourable mention from 7 years ago forever lol.

any1 know the entry rules for this year yet?

Yeah, I know everyone\'s already confirmed it but... it IS on the 14th. Got a sneeky peek at GW\'s schedule a couple of weeks back when booking something with them and the weekend of the 13th/14th definitely had \'Gamesday\' written across it :)

Only five months! Better get started on some entries :)
