Need to step up my painting a bit. Haven\'t really had a proper go at display painting since my Ogre, three years ago.
Got a few ideas though. Actually, one thing I really want to do soon is a full-on display paintjob on a converted Black Reach Ork Warboss as I think it\'s a superb figure that could improve further with a few tweaks. Incidentally I think the few weak areas on the fig are mostly down to the limitations of plastic and push fitting. Doubt it\'d be for GD but it\'d be a good warm-up (and possibly an extra entry if I\'ve nothing else for 40k monster)

well ive got my regiment finished...sort of. its still got a few things id like to touch up on one or two of the minis but im running out of time now. still its not looking too shabby.

So long as you don\'t pick it up and throw it around like you normally do when handling your figures I am sure you will do fine.
Good luck to all those entering, have a good time and when you are sat in the bar nattering about this that and the other raise a pint for me as I will be on a plane bound for Singapore by that time and I will see you all in a year. That is if they let me back for next years GD if not then I might be able to make next years Euro-Militaire

I have just lost ALL my belief in my entries.
Two weeks ago I was lifting the slayer sword!
Today I\'m done by 1pm Sunday.
I\'m putting too much pressure on myself, winning one last year is making this year worse!
I am gutted to hear Rob/Demonherald isn\'t entering the Avatar, all the WIP shots looked spot on!

Oh Ive been over there many times for Games Days..even taken home a few Demons.. its just getting more and more expensive to travel and since I got laid off three years ago and went self employed things have been very tight financially for me. Spending $2,000 plus to attend a GD is just not in the cards right now. Maybe by next year things will improve, as I expand the line of product to my store my income goes up and I\'m paying off old debt.. makes dreams of coming back over and pillaging demons a bit easier..
If you ever want a chat I use most messengers.. you will just have to have your own pint handy that\'s all :beer:
