Try these for your train times and tickets, there is a thing over here called an APEX Return whereby you specify your train times and it books you a seat but you have to travel on that train + I can\'t remember the site url but this one doesn\'t seem to bad if you do a search for trains uk in google or one of the others you should also get a few other options.

I priced this one as London to Birmingham the journey takes about 1 and a 1/2 hours ish and costs about £25 for a return ticket.

... From St. Pancras, right?

Think it might be Euston actually as the lines are all electric between London and Birmingham if I remember correctly, you might have t check on that one:)

If you are specific on the station you want to leave from or just type in London then when it gives you the times use the view details links to see which station it is saying you leave from.

As I said this isn\'t the best one but I can\'t find the one I used last year
:(

The link in Tammy\'s last post seems better you could try that as well.

I did some digging, you want midlandmainline from ST. Pancras actually....

http://WWW.midlandmainline.com

If you buy a ticket from virgin it\'ll be a midlanfd mainline train anyways, so buying direct is probably cheaper....

Thanks for the links and advise! I\'ve travelled from St. Pancras before; and I think I\'ll buy the tickets direct (I\'m flying to London a few days before GD anyways, so I\'ll have time for that).

Uhm, it\'s the difference in ticket price really.

Klute....

Take the gf....if she can\'t stand the stench of adolescent boys going hormonal...there\'s always the pub round the corner which will undoubtedly be full of stalwarts:D

However, GD is not a place to go if you don\'t like crowds and a bit of \'hustle and bustle\'...here\'s a pic I took last year:

You should get each other cell numbers when organising a meet up. If it happens all over again, just call those who are MIA :D

Do they allow taking cell phones into the building? I think I\'ve seen on the website of NIA something about \"no cell phones\" :D

Sweet! My phone is so tiny that I scarcely notice it myself ;) So hopefully security won\'t notice it either ;)
