UK - GD, Who & What?

This will be my first GD looking forward to it will enter

40k single/squad
WFB single/unit

aim is to get one figure in finals this year and see where we go from there

Turns out I won\'t be going, won\'t be at Euro either. Going to get the ferry to Amsterdam with a couple of hippies and a djembe and cycle to South Korea.

Should be fun, probably won\'t get much painting done though.

strap a lump of wood to fix the mini to and you should be fine painting - just look at the road occasionally and mind the bumps when doing eyes!!

Umm that\'s about 5,500 miles as the crow fly\'s and most of it through communist countries and then theirs that whole going through North Korea to get to South Korea..

How long do you envision this taking?

Snikrot... good one.... Orc Warbosses are gnerally considered Monster .. I believe it\'s if the model is normally supplied with a 40mm base it goes in monster .. but then terminators re allowed in 40K single... I would personally put snikrot in single as well ... I think the Ork thing in monster category is for when people do the crazy gahzkhull in mega armour....

5,500 in 14 days you\'d have to be doing something close to 395 miles a day, which for a 12 hour day would be 32 Mph.

i shall try but i aint promising anything. mine may not be as good as nigels but it\'ll still be in one piece in a years time!

After six months of pfaff... I will be coming along.

The only thing I\'m definitely entering is WH single which is turning into a modelmaking saga of epic proportions but I should be ready to put a brush to it in about 2 - 3 weeks from now assuming all goes to plan.

Next on the list after that is 40K Vehicle but I\'m still not 100% on that one.

I\'d like to also aim at 40K single though I have this feeling what I want to do may get nudged into monster... will have to see.

If I don\'t manage 2 categories I\'ll be annoyed with myself, though I have a had a cr*p-load on this year so I have an excuse.


The big stuff will have to wait for 2010/2011
