Ok....I know it\'s months away yet BUT (and that\'s a big BUT) I thought it would be good to start talking about it now.

No excuse for people saying \"Oh, I forgot it was on..\" or \"I didn\'t know you were all meeting\" etc.

I\'m planning to go this year (no painting entries though - baby steps right?) and I\'d love to meet as many of you lot as possible

Although I hate \'organised\' events, I think that a little bit of organisation is needed, otherwise it will end up like last year: Mr Finn will just wander around aimlessly and complain that no one turned up, whilst Mr Dragonsreach will be swanning off for \'free\' lunches

So, what about it folks? Some comments please: for or against, it doesn\'t matter just so long as it stirs up a bit of interest. I need to get a life dammit and you guys are all I\'ve got at the moment

count me in, i\'ll be sick of wandering the NIA after I\'ve dumped my entries off at the comp anyways, I hate the atmosphere there. It\'s almost like a religious conversion rally, GW stamped down your throat in a massive way....blegh. i\'ll be dropping off my entries, say a very quick hi to some peeps, get my archaon on foot fig and then i\'m off to the pub till they announce the winners, then i\'m off home.
I\'m actually hoping i\'ll have my Minigrrrl.com t-shirts ready by then, so i\'ll be easily recognisable! in theory that is....

As for the T-shirts; Of course I\'ll be wearing one, I don\'t want to look udderly ridiculous.

Tooshy: You\'ll be easy to spot Pink elephant outfit and Mole Grips. (Sniper rifles are not allowed worse luck. Although I may bring along my equalising Hammer.)

But we must keep our eye on Kat or she\'ll be buying another Dragon.

Not sure if I could face it again...as it is such a long distance to travel. I will have to see if I can\'t kill two birds with one stone. Perhaps its time I visited my elderly mother again? She lives in B\'ham and it will be exactly a year since I saw her last by some strange coincidence:innocent:

p.s. Has anyone got a link to \'Archeon on Foot\'...is it worth getting?

I\'ll be going to GD as usual this year, and it\'d be pretty cool to meet some of you guys! So you can count me in!

But yeah, Finn, its in the same place as last year... I can see myself doing a Tammy and spending most of the day in the pub round the corner (hmmm reminds me of salute).

If I remember correctly, the pub round the corner did a good line in pub-grub as well Much better than the slop they served to the kiddies at the NIA:flip:

now that\'s a way to get really noticed!...or not allowed in.... no, I\'m going to get some proper shirts made for selling on the website. I\'ve got this manga style 20 cm tall model Juan Diaz made for(and of) me as a Bday gift a few years ago. It\'ll be browny style shirts with the logo in tan and that model on the front It\'s nothing to make money out of really, I just thought it\'d be funny if people would be wearing Minigrrrl.com shirts to conventions and stuff...blatant self promotion.
