There were also some guys there from another forum who did some kind of magazine but I can\'t for the life of me remember who they were. They took loads of photos of stuff.

I don\'t think so. I seem to remember him saying they were on a forum that used to belong to the Rackham stuff but it turned into a general games forum after that business with them nearly going bankrupt or something....



Or maybe I imagined all that ???

That\'s them. I just had a quick look round their site but I didn\'t spot anything much about it other than a \"who\'s going\" thread.

That will be the Basement guys to which Robin S is a member/founder of that forum but to be honest I haven\'t seen any of their photos up on the site either.

Thats true actually i was that busy chatting I didn\'t take many.

I don\'t many of the guys did they were all too busy chatting.


What we have is going into a show report on the basement web zine in a later update.

it could be done, although one of us (most likely me) would have to find a venue, as the local GW is tiny, and the manager, although cool, is a starch arse when it comes to other companies minis/paints.

anyone up for it?

p.s if your nice i can show you where yorks best fish and chip restaraunt is, and the best modelling shop (plasticard galore! :) )

Would be interested in the modelling shop Rosac, always looking for decent stores... however, as we all know, the world\'s best chippy is Kingfishers on Denby Dale Road lol

I love York, it is a bit of a trek for me these days as I left Yorkshire a long time ago but I am up for it.
Me and the Mrs got married there so we could make a weekend of it and include the meet up (if there is one) at the same time.

I\'ll look for a venue on Saturday then.

It would be nice to be able to put faces to, um, avatars, and to see each others work.

As for the fish and chips thing, its only the best in YORK remember.:D

Hi all


Sorry for the lack of responses and the non-posting of pics :-( Been manic with work and other hobbies the last few weeks and haven\'t had a chance to check back on CMON.

I have the group shot, but not the time/facilities to get it on here at the mo... does someone have a photo account they\'re happy to bung it up on, in which case I\'ll e-mail it over.
