i am really a fan of that firewarrior, how did u achieve that pose:eek:??

although it is a bit dull and there are no bright colours

The pose of the firewarrior required a fair bit of repositioning - I used the crouching firewarrior legs and moved the left leg around so it would face forwards, the arms are from the FW tau tank commander, with the left hand resculpted to hold the gun.

The gun itself was a real pain - the pulse carbines you get on the sprues are far larger than the one represented in the artwork, so I basically had to start with one of those, strip it down to the bare minimum and then rebuild parts of it with plasticard

I wasn\'t that happy with the paintjob, but I did deliberately avoid bright colours by mixing in browns/greys to the paints and using brown washes. I did this to try and imitate the dark feel of the original artwork.
