use testors dull coat spray, only matt varnish spray thats any good. gw sucks and so do most brands. as for the green stuff, did you sand and gloss varnish the greenstuff befor you painted it? you need to do that to make it good to paint on.

pshhhh guys thanks for the kind words.

@skelly, lol ill belive it when i see it man. You should definatly paint up an Eldar fig though. They get a bad rep for being panzy-ish just because GW portrays them always with bright colours and fare skin. But how you paint, you could make an eldar model look fucking evil man. Id be amazed to see what you could do with one.

painted a few more thangs on her/him...the process has been slow on my Tranny-seer. Mid terms are a sopping up most of my time.

slowly working my way round to the back of the cape where I will do some free-hands, what exactly i do not know yet. little pieces all over still need to be improved though. I want to make the armour a little less flat and a little more "ohhhhh shiny"

your cool if you post!!

nice work so far! I really like the muted colors on an Eldar. Such a contrast to how they are normally painted in bright "elfy" colors. Freehand looks good, can't wait to see what you come up with for the back~~

thanks again ya'll! you are all most righteous for taking the time out of your busy days to comment.

@ khargrim, im cooking up something a little different for the sword. it could work out, or it could turn the other way and look hideous! as soon as im done the blade ill post to see what you guys think about it. and it will definatly contrast with the rest of the model.

"...Farseer Zelpweekatelamiistellia's physic powers, although legendary amongst her craftworld Ulthwe, were still not enough to ward off the attacks of such a beastly foe. One so foul, dark, SINISTER!! The battle raged for hours and despite Zelpweekatelamiistellia surviving the onlaught, it was not without cost...she narrowly escaped the encounter with but one of her arms. With time, one would hope that she will again serve the craftworld Ulthwe on the field of battle..."

It would appear that some careless f****in cat waltzed across my work bench and knocked my current project over, damaging the arm and thus making me have to do a hasty amputation. That explains why there doesnt appear to be the right amount of limbs in this pphoto. Some freehands have been done on the inner cape and the metal has been highlighted with white to add a certain polished look.

Instilled below is the horrid aftermath of the scuffle...

Krylon Matte Finish is good too. I have learned in my old age that everyone who uses GW products are only buying into the name. And I was told about from a Golden Demon winner. If itworks for him, it can't be that bad.
