Ultimate Ork Conversion Hunt!

For those of us who started young enough or are indeed old enough to remember Ork freebooterz I need to rack you brains and photograph archives!

There was an amazing piece of Ork Freebooters artwork that I cannot find anywhere??? I need it for my new Ork Clan that I am gonna convert into freebooterz.

Plus if anyone can remember anything about freebooterz background or has any pics of Ork Freebooter models (were there any?) then that would also be greatly appreciated.:)

Narrowing the search....

Hey Alex - I\'d like to help out as I have a few Freebooter models etc. However, can you narrow down where the artwork was i.e. in a copy of White Dwarf perhaps? I have lots of those too, but would like more info before I delve into looking this up :D

I am too old to remeber these figures as I stopped gaming in the Mid 80\'s and never really got into WH. I have just started painting againStuff of legends is a great site for general browsing.

Ive got some of those...

Ok so the artwork if I am thinking of the same thing was a White dwarf cover, unfortunately can\'t give you a number as my collection went walk about years ago. Did the warboss have a pirate hat and big power arm? If so definately a cover. As for the figures there was a range of free booterz by GW. you can probably get them via mail order. Will try and post some pics of \"Kaptin Tong Cuta\'z Flash gitz\" when I get my camera sorted.

The trouble is I don\'t remember where the hell I saw it, I think a saw a small copy of it on a leaflet when I first started playing but that was like when I was 5! I\'m 19 now you do the math.

aaah, i loved that picture!! thanks for the trip dpwn memory lane!! i do have some of those old gw figs though i think, somewhere. they have tons of character, bought them as part of a job lot on ebay i think. drop me a line if you want some..
