Ultramarine Assault Marines Squad

Hi Folks,

Here's some of my most recent 40K work - a squad of five Ultramarine Assault Marines. I set my myself the target of at least table-top standard. All the icons and markings are freehand and I tried increasing the contrast by darkening the gaps in the armour and brightening the edge highlights. What do you think?

Those look real good. Did you freehand the checkerboard knees?

freehands very good i thought they were transfers.

Cheers! Yup, all the chequers and markings are freehand - started off in Space Wolves Grey and then gradually worked up to Skull White. My next challenge is moving away from edge highlighting and learn blended highlights.
