Hi guys did anyone who's pre-ordered the Ultramarine Movie get this email today :

Unfortunately, due to a production issue outside of our control, we are not able to start shipping your order for the ULTRAMARINES DVD Collector's Set today, November 29th as planned. We are working around the clock with our third party suppliers to resolve the issue as soon as possible and hope to be able to give you details of a new ship date tomorrow.

We at Codex Pictures know you will be very disappointed not to receive your DVD as soon as anticipated and are equally distressed ourselves that this has happened.

Please accept our sincere apologies and rest assured we are doing everything we can to resolve the issue and get your order to you quickly.

It does say that they hope to give a new date tomorrow so I'll post it here if they do :)

Hi guys just this :

As we advised yesterday, due to a production issue outside our control, we were not able to start shipping the complete Ultramarines DVD collector’s set on November 29th 2010 as planned.

We have teams in the UK, US and Europe working around the clock to resolve the issue.

At this time, we are hoping that orders can start to ship next week. In the meantime, we will keep you informed as soon as we receive more information.

Once again, please accept our sincere apologies for this delay to you receiving your Ultramarines DVD.

Sincerely,

Codex Pictures

If my sources are correct (and they usually aren't), the delay is because instead of the Ultramarines movie, every disk was burned with the test-screening version of Miss Congeniality 3: The Next Generation

More likely mass confusion will reighn while they try and identify the origins of the humanoids with lumps wondering why they have to fight the urge to touch themselves innapropriately.
"What the fuck is this bob?"
"I dunno, it's an Eldar or somehting, I think. Ask Jim, he's watching it in his room"
"Hey, Jim?..."
"OMG OMG! DON'T COME IN!"

Yes. They're supposed to have sorted out the production issue and are due to start shipping (can't remember if it's this week or next). But orders will be shipped in chronological order of placement.

There's been nationwide holds on shipping for all companies apparently, the reason you haven't got a reply yet is probably because the guys are absolutely inundated with mail from people with the same problem. It happened even before the snow...No wonder the transport minister quit.

Still haven't received it either mabnkat. I've sent a couple of emails but they haven't deigned to respond. The excuse for the transport may be valid but a bit of customer service wouldn't hurt. In fact, it's the lack of response to enquiries that's more irritating than the order not arriving. In my case it's for an xmas present, so if it hasn't arrived by the 25th it'll be going back for a refund, assuming it ever arrives.

In the same time frame, I've received several parcel from Jersey, all of which were ordered after this, so the post excuse is a little tenuous tbh and I suspect some traders are proably using it as an excuse.

I dunno, I was on the phone earlier trying to get hold of someone for a lappy that was ordered 3 weeks ago in Staffordshire. All I got was an automated response citing the same thing the tracker came up with on the tinterwebs site.

Ordered the day of the news release - had 5 emails advising about the production delay, ordered a second copy 3 weeks ago for a friends xmas present, had zero response from the half dozen or so emails I have sent them. and still nothing has arrived... very disappointed ATM... the snow and slowing of the postal system might have effected it. but I thought that the over priced postage would have been able to jump that... arh well they will arrive hopefully.. fingers crossed.
