a good, solid paintjob. the face and metals (especially on the bionic arm) seem to be better than the rest

because this was a time and medium test i only used a one stage highlight for everything except the arm which just has a wash of the black over the metal colour.

I did something similar with my shop\'s terminator librarian. The foundation paints do work really well, especially for painting things quickly. Of course, as you can see you can get a nice finish on them too.

Good work Tommie. I take it you used some colour wheel mixes to get the shade on the red. With Dheneb/Astronomican mixes for the highlights?

Next little trip I make up to the games workshop Im getting like 19 boxes of the things, its pretty much all Im going to paint my dark angels in, then just very quickly touch up with standard paints.

Deathwing is only spray black, tau sept ochre, then two of bleached bone, and then a chestnut wash over that, very thin.

Details in dark green, picked out two lighter, other bits in reds and blues, and done.

Ravenwings just straight on black spray, and green power armour is orc green, under DA green.

nope no fancy colour wheel thingies.
the red was just the mechrite red,the shade was a thin glaze of some charadon/mechrite, highlighted by adding some tau spet ochre.
the blue, mordian base, necron shade, and yes astronomican/mordian highlight.
yellow, tau sept, iyanden.
skin, charadon, calthan, tallarn.
white, astronomican, white.

the black and metal colours are the only foundation paints that you can\'t get on their own, they are in the battle for skull pass paint set, and do recommend gettin some.:D
