This is the most detailed and hardest model I\'ve ever painted. But it is now finished 7 days later. I estimate around 20 hours was spent on this figure. Testament to why I hate showcase painting. Takes too long and little to show for all the effort. Armies in my opinion are more fun and just as impressive as showcase.

id say you got alot to show for it, cause you did a great job. The blue and yellow mess very well. And the gold is particularly good, especially since im starting to appreciate the difficulty in using metallics.

The only thing that doesnt work imo is the base. it seems kinda bland. on the plus the blandness does keep the eye focused on the mini itself.

Gareth, you did a fantastic job. I don\'t see why you seem so disappointed by it. You did an excellent jon on this librarian, especially on his armor. You did a great job making it look metallic while still using \"flat\" paints. You did an impressive job! Great job, Gareth :)

I agree about the base as well, but overall, I think the model is beautiful.
