Well, the effect itself is painted well, but the locations look a bit random.
look for the logical spots where teh tank would receive the most wear & tear.
Around the hatches' edges, the bottom edge of the tank, corners, panels, etc etc.

agree the bd is painted very good, but the choosen locations make it look like some kind of wallpaper. scratches should, as Meph says, appear mostly where it get subjected for most wear&tear.

You can always have look through my BA Army thread. Lots of vehicles, lots of weathering, and lots of verbal diarreah.
I don't know of any immediate online tutorials, but if you've got some cash to burn, both Forgeworld's Model Masterclass books are absolutely brilliant. Take the first one if you can only afford one, or dig through google if you can afford none. ^^
But really, they're treasure troves, those books.

true, they are good. (and I was the evil who scanned the first one in, the second was by someone else)
Or if you can: M.i.G 's FAQ2 book. About the same price or a bit more expensive as the FW ones, but it's a THICK book.Absolutely super for weathering and such. And as I know it will be in pdf form soon. ;)

also there are a few good video tutorials in this theme:
MiG1-2, AK-AFV Acryil techniques, AK Enamel Weathering, Tractor from Miniaturementor, altough not vehicle, but there is a good weathering on youtube from Massivevoodoo, not 100% sure, but youtube (awesomepaintjob, buypainted) have a few good ones as well.

This is outstanding airbrush work. For someone with as many questions as you have, you seem to have it pretty well mastered. And then someone tells you how you can improve and you do it. Perfectly. Some things just come easy to people, I guess. Even your English is better than you give yourself credit for...

Oh, wow, you actually managed to make those things look good. Noice!

^^agreed. You made them look good. That's a rarity with SF space marine type sculpts, IMO. Never much contrast or highlighting. They always look so plain and it often leaves me wondering-where is the skill in these things? I can say the same thing about vehicles for many painters. They just don't seek the contrast that they should in them. When one does this to a vehicle or space marine AND fails to even weather it, the result looks like a toy that one might find in a Happy Meal from McDonlads. You, Sir, don't have this problem. Good job.
