is it just me or should this movie really be called PENSIONERS IN SPACE, is it the graphics or have the main characters in this thing been specifically designed to look like they are refugee's from a nursing home!
when i heard this was coming out i thought yipee something like the dawn of war game trailer spot on, wow what a cataclismic cock up.
the voice overs are a bit on the dubious side too ranging from "to the manor born" and "only fools and horses" its startrek all over again...by that i mean they have turned the production over to people who have never seen or had very little contact with the actual subject matter.

"caw luv a duck capn servrus, ye have qualifyd fer the winter heatin allowance"
"oo i say spiffing what, by the way who am i again?"

That would be interesting.
"Captain Garvey. And who am I addressing?"
"I am Spartacus!"
*distant voice* "NO! I am Spartacus!"
*distant voice* "NO! I AM Spartacus!"

Uargh those graphics look like they where from a 10+ years old PC game. I had recently sworn to stop the GW bashing but well: SHAME on you GW for stopping "damnatus" and then serving us this utter crap! While "damnatus" seems to have a moody and grown-up vibe to it (just watched the ending on youtube), I expect to see nothing but a blatant adverticement to get more kiddies to play "cooool" space marines from this one.

Ah dear, watching that trailer actually made me wince.
"'ere guv, 'ow do we know which one of deese lads is chaos then? By the way , boss. Got a luverly lot of watches to sell, 'ow 'bout it then?"

In this age, i'm sure they could have pushed for better graphic quality, not to mention the blocky animation...

I don't think it'll be that bad.....it'll be enjoyable , not great but enjoyable.

However the reason I won't be getting it is the usual stupid price tag GW have stuck on it, it's not like it's even on Blu-Ray............does any DVD ever come out for £25.99, I don't want the rest of the shite they are giving away with it.

I'd pay £25.99 for Blu-ray, but £15.00 max for DVD

I concurr, however I suspect for we "adults" there will be some cringe making moments.

It could have been worse, Disney could have got the Ok to do the movie they suggested, complete with songs, fluffy bunnies and a happy ending of the emperor reunited with his long lost son. (Pass the Barf Bag!)
