Hey,

See what you think of this one. Have made an effort to blend in a lot of the highlights into the base colour. I am aiming for the kind of standard you see in white dwarf/codexes, so please don\'t judge by tournament standards.

Cheers!

edit: have had to make a new entry as the first photo was no good, sorry.

Very nice blending!! I still find it odd that with this mini you cant see the eyes, even when the camera angle is on level with them! I find it lacks a focal point when you cant see most of the head. Obviously not your fault, just an onservation.

Pushing the highlights a bit more on the chest eagle would have made it stand out a little too.

Did the vote thing!

The highlights could maybe be taken a bit further, and the gold could use a bit more work but overall looks nice. Close to WD standard I\'d say.
got an 8 from me.

Thx guys, I\'m really satisfied to get good feedback :)

I\'m workin on a squad of assault marines at the mo, but gonna move onto some single characters after that... not sure what i think of nmm tho, i think it can look good in photos but will look unrealistic in real life. (My only effort at this has been a couple of tau air cast from forgeworld and I\'m not that pleased with how its turned out.) Anyone have a more positive experience of nmm?

pretty damn good VD - as said above highlights needs to be taken a little further. Your gold looks really convincing. Think you are right with the nmm being more for displaymodels than for gamingminis.

For a venerable dred its a little to clean. I would like to see some battle damage. As a paint job it is very nice. Clean, crisp well done. Did the vote thing.
