Unbelievable Tutorial

I came across a wonderfully described and documented tutorial. This was provided by a sculpting yahoo group that I've been a part of for awhile. This guy shows how to sculpt and paint a sci-fi bust from scratch. Went on to win Gold at Euromilitaire. This is a a very long tutorial, so requires the Drop Box app (free) to read. But you won't regret it...

Shirow is one of my favorites as well. He did and excellent job in capturing that feel imho, and the "hush" lettering idea was brilliant. Very detailed tut and very happy you posted it, thanks.

thanks. Until now I only had the saved blog for this tutorial.

Too bad I don't have the nerve to even try painting the bust for the next few years... I want it perfect, but I'm not good enough for that.

Hope you all found it as useful as I did. The techniques he uses are at the cutting edge of our little obsession/hobby. There is literally something for everyone to learn from the tutorial. There is sculpting with a variety of mediums and tools, airbrushing, masking, decals, scratch building with plasticard and using bits on a sculpt, some crazy techniques for skin, casting in clear resin, varnishing, use of solder, etc etc...I am truly inspired and may eventually try my hand at sculpting a bust.

I have parts of the painting tutorial saved but I must have missed the sculpting parts back then. It's without a doubt one of the best tutorials I've come across.

Thanks for sharing, bloodfather and maxx..
They are huge, so just opened and they all seem very interesting, will save for a later read.

The Hush project is pretty amazing. Took a while to read through the whole dropbox file, but well worth it. Thanks for sharing.

That is just great. Thanks for sharing this tutorial. I have seen video on unboxing one of them, I was very impressed on sculpt by itself. Thats part of this hobby what I love people don't have secrets how they do it.
