But forcing people to be \'nice\' to each other will result in hypocrisy. I haven\'t seen the posts in question, but if personnal attacks is jsut a heated debat then I say let it go, people don\'t have to agree (thanks god !!) and not agreeing as never been something polite. If it is a one sided attack on another person well, tack the disruptive user out and leave the thread for the rest of the members to discusse.
Closing of threads just seems to me like a restraint of our freedome to keep an appearence of \'happy feeling\'. Not somthing that I think is right.
But like I said, not my forum and I still enjoy most of it anyway, so I just play ball :D

Sorry, Jim, I was trying to leave you outta this. I feel bad that you felt it neccessary to come forward. :(

I would have most likely closed it myself, and since I have spoken to Jim in PM I feel I had a tiny bit of input on closing it, which placates my own ego no end. :D

Just to clarify, however, it was two other people who received your first warning (myself being one of them), but I have to accept that it was the equivalent of general warning. Especially since the individuals changed, but the subject matter had not.

@Duende - maybe wait a few days for that, in the mean time you can forward any pics you want to send DIRECTLY to my E-mail. ;)

@Dammekkos2 - Don\'t blame the mods! It was my own stupidity, I was gonna delete it myself anyway.

I did not delete the thread, but rather moved it to a MODS ONLY section for further review. It essentially makes it \'disappear\' to forum goers.

What would you have me do?
i think you did the right thing, then you can clean it up or decide to move it back locked, after discussing it, that way your not the bad guy

If I don\'t close the thread, I am accused of allowing personal attacks, if I do close the thread I am accused of hypocrisy.

I think thread locks are ok, whetherthe lock down is explained or not (it\'s usually fairly obvious). Deletions are something different though. It should be moved back to the main forum, open or closed.

I only did it because several people asked ME where it went. I swear, people around here have a bit to much \'Jerry Springer\' syndrome.

I was going to delete THIS ONE myself, which of course would lead to you being accused and both of us receiving even MORE PM\'s about it.

Yeesh, it wasn\'t even all that bad, it was only just starting to go that way.

i think you did the right thing, then you can censor it up or decide to move it back locked, after discussing it, that way your not the bad guy

The effect is the same (unless you plan to move it back to the member forums, in which case I\'d be happy. If not we\'re just talking semantics).

I don\'t need to see it, I don\'t think that\'s at all relevant though.

I understand your point.

The reason I moved it to the MODS AREA was so I could discuss it with the other mods. Maybe that will still happen.

I am confident enough to have made the decision, but not arrogant enough to change my views, if I am wrong. I like to work with the other moderators as a team.

I guess I don\'t see the point of keeping personal attacks in the main forum just for the sake of the community. Seems odd to me, and coming from you especially, since you just mentioned how us moderators do not take action when Alexi Z is attacked.

Painting competition??

I remember following the legendary Alexi Z & Klute thread with great interest. I was really looking forward to seeing how their painted versions of the \'Nataylia\' mini was going to turn out.

Was the competition dropped?
