I would vote a 7. The pelt looks really nice, but the skin is far too bright. The skin is my main qualm, but it just doesn\'t have the \"kick in the teeth\" appearance.

It\'s very well painted but as JakeSh stated, the tone of the skin is probably a bit off putting, that and the grass bieng very bright and very close to the skin colour, i person like this style and would most likely give it an 8 myself, however i can see how people would not like the style.

Bof.. I don\'t like it very much. For me, its rate of 7.3 is a maximum. Too flashy for me. The fingers are not good worked for exemple. Remember that a rate of 7 is a good rate on CMON. :wow:

I gave it an 8. Mostly on the blending work done on the fur/quills things on his back. And the nicely done metal studs on the red belt.

I\'d say the pelt is pretty great about it. I like the spines very much.

The skin is a bit neon as others have stated. Also, the moss on the base has very little shading. I also can see why some people may not find Rackham\'s orks to be very cool.

Well, i\'ve got to say people have brought up things i don\'t even consider when i\'m voting. i mainly vote off technigue and color use. The pelt and the skin both seem very smooth and well done. i was in no way saying it should be ranted higher, just asking what i\'m doing wrong in my voting process because it seems i\'m always voting 1-1.5 points higher than everyone else... and well, if i\'m voting high because i\'m not looking at the minis the way better painters do, then odds are i\'m not painting them as well as i could also. Just asking for what people look for in a mini when voting.

Hmmm...

When I think of a \'solid 10\'....it\'s a good 3 to 4 points off.....???

And when I look at Dammekos\' example...I have to agree with the verdict of eBay.

It\'s a six or seven max. The poster should have stuck the pic in Photoshop and dropped the saturation.

Or put a warning that it should only be viewed with shades on!

And I like bright minis!

Still don\'t like the skin, but that\'s just personal preference.
