Underworld Evolution!

I saw Nightwatch the other day, it was... weird. But kinda good. Gritty and real (I guess coz its a Russian film so no money for expensive special effects). Gonna be interesting to see the next 2 (its a trilogy).

The 93s are pretty cool for movies (Robocop\'s gun is a dressed version) but you can get automatic pistols too - Glock make one and so do Baretta. You\'d have to be about five feet away to make this any use of course... but hey, good for those with a small wiener.

I know someone who was in special forces and he told me he emptied a clip at a VC across a small clearing (20-30 feet) while the other guy did the same with his AK and they both missed!

Why is it that \"gun-enjoying people\" get dissed for enjoying big/rapid firing guns? The other day I was talking about firing out at the range and some chick said something about my male organ. I just don\'t understand...I am pretty regular..not small and not huge.
Anyone have some insight into this?

The small wiener thing was meant in reference to people who think that full-auto handguns are a good idea; don\'t get me wrong, fully-automatic fire has a definitely place, just not in a handgun. I feel the same way about someone who thinks .50 AE or .454 Casull are useful calibres in general handgunning

I\'m a lifelong fan of guns and accuracy is a real pleasure (or at least striving for it) when I get the chance to shoot, as it is for many shooters. But given how inherently inaccurate handguns are at the best of times - try and get a double-tap into one hole at a dozen metres - I can\'t even imagine what emptying a clip at 800 RPM+ would be like... even with a gun massing what the MP40 does if you go over a three-round burst you can rise off centre by more than a hand-span at a relatively short range for a submachinegun

Yeah I like accuracy as well. I just think automatics are entertaining. Just to get the \"lead out\". And perhaps get out pent up anger. Not for practical uses.

I agree 100%.. full auto handguns are just silly.

Newer weapons like the Steyr TMP or HK PDW are far better suited for CQB. Closed bolt designs for the win!
I wish more films actually showed these weapons in use.

As for Underworld: Evolution.. I just hope they\'ve improved the \"hybrid\'s\" EFX.
They were pretty weak in the first film.
I really like the UV rounds.. need some of those for display.
