got given this at a show some time ago
so long ago in fact that I cannot remember who they said it was
any ideas?

French Marshal Napoleonic period.
Neither Marshall Murat, Ney, St Cyr nor Poniatowski.
Possibly Davout? But given that he\'s wearing a Hussars Pelisse and Dolmen I\'m not sure.

my best guess: british naval officer from the turn of the18th to19th century (napoleonic wars )

you´re sure the bust is a french marshall ?
it was my first idea but somehow the uniform looks british to me

by the wayx :damned you were faster :D

Yes The Collar is definitley French Napoleonic period laurels and not British.
British Naval officers uniforms were lapel fronted and not braided.

yeah, I\'m pretty sure they said he was French,
for the life of me I can\'t remember the company either, it was from a show in Gravesend, thought it was El Greco, but there\'s nothing like it on their site

Looks like a company starts with a V (Veridian) ??? model. I have a few with that plith...
Have to go thorough boxes to see for sure will get back
