Upcoming mini event in Belgium: Crusade 2004

Hello people,

On Saturday 4 September there will be a miniature event in Leopoldsburg in the Limburg province of Belgium. I\'ll be there, mainly for the painting competition. I plan on entering 4-6 projects, in several different categories. Our Confrontation gaming group will also be present there, giving Confrontation demos all day long. And of course lots of traders, including my local storekeeper, as well as companies from outside Belgium (eg Amazon miniatures from the UK).

But if you want to visit the biggest mini event in Belgium (about 5 times bigger than Crusade) I advice you to wait a couple of months, because Crisis 2004 will be held in november this year. SO if you\'re a mini freak, you should really visit that event (pictures of last year\'s edition are also available on my site)

Hi,

I went to crisis last year and I agree it\'s worth going there. It has grown fairly big now and there are lots of minis to see. They have a painting competition too and you\'ll need to be very good a I\'d expect Holger Schmidt and Dirk Stiller to be there again. Last year they got trophy after trophy.

Around that time we should mail again to see if anybody is interested in meeting up there.

Yeah, I believe there were more Germans than Belgians who won prizes :]
My miniatures were 3 and 4 points short for a bronze medal.

But Crisis a great event for people from other countries: it\'s fairly big, making the trip worthwile, and there\'s a hotel across the street lots of restaurants and a huge movie theatre (with 24 screens) nearby
