I originally had a very witty comment for her, but I forgot to save it before I hit the \"Add this picture\" button and the network farted and I uploaded neither the image nor the comment. And then I forgot the comment. Oh well.

WIP Mini Photos (Click for larger images)

I used two different Reaper Master series flesh colors, a blond triad for the hair and a red/brown triad for the wings. Metalic purple and gold for the boots, with some black lining to make the metals stand out. The shadow color for the blond triad was used for the leather color on the belt. A little white was used as a light snow cover inspired by what was outside my house at the time.

I really wish the picture was better. I have to kind of piece together what she looks like from the WIP photos and the final pic.

I really like the blond hair. I have a friend whose hair is nearly identical. The tan lines are noticeable but not over the top. Nice work.

I don\'t always comment on WIP or submission threads, but I have really enjoyed watching your work improve over the last year or so, and your willingness to keep WIP threads and take suggestions. You make this place more fun. :)

Trying to get the right scale of the photo, the right level of detail, the right well everything seems to be a task suitable for Solomon. However, for the forum folk, I have the same version of the photo, without the frame, scalled to 621 pixels wide instead of 500 pixels that I used for CMON. It is supposed to be 800 pixels wide but picturetrail shrunk it.

Oh, man. I know it.

I did a highlight/midtone and a gamma adjustment to your pic. Is this close to the minis actual colors, or does it lift them too much?

It looks better. I also have a problem in that my home lap top is apparently too bright, my work laptop is darker and my work desktop is most evil in it\'s shade of dark. Given that I have figured that either half of the world will complain that it\'s too dark or half of the world will complain that its all washed out.

One day I need to take the same mini in the same conditions changing the settings on the camera and post a poll as to which one looks the best. (OK in my case which one looks the least worst.)

Here is the 800 wide photo showing only the front. (In order not to get it too tall which picturetrail uses to resize the image.)

To me, with the skin tone variations, it looks like she is going without a top but normally tans with one on. It just jumped out at me from the first pic.

I think I\'ve evolved. The comments have moved from \"you suck as a painter\" to \"you suck as a photographer.\" It\'s one of the reasons I love this wonderful community here.

As long as you don\'t get \'you suck as a human being\' you\'re doing well....;)

Sir, you got a wonderful spirit lol

Still, you\'re definitely going in the right direction. Voted 6, I love those bikini lines ;)

Spirit I got. A clue on how to really use my kodak digital camera in macro closeup mode with all the benefits of this nifty photographing box I have not got.

Still I\'m pretty proud at the thought that if my photographing skills improved my mini would look better. I\'ve tried to photograph my original 6 breaker mini and the better I get the WORSE she looks. (note to self never even attempt to blend with extreemely different GW flesh colors)
