There is still too little differenciation between dark skin tones and pale.
Try going through this thread Skin up with Klute.
I\'ve found that darkening human skin by adding a touch of Liche Purple to the basic skin tone does give a very good shadow tone. You just need to make thin glazes of this to increase the darker areas and then re-apply the main skin tone, add highlights and then make a very dilute glaze of the main skin colour to give a very smooth graduation.
you can then Highlight to your hearts desire.

Well it holds up her ... uh ... scabbard. I haven\'t attached it yet.
The scabbard is attached on the rear, which I haven\'t photographed yet.I\'m going to make another layer to get the color difference more obvious. Also I\'m still having a royal pin in the neck trying to get everything just right in the photography department. I got the thing focused, but there is a degree of wash out by the true color bulb, I may have to move it father away from the subject.
Update: Still needs a ton of detal work, such is the life of the imperfect painter. Most of the base work is done at this point, flesh, hair, clothing. Spots need to be corrected and I have to do a little more detail work on the sword. Wings, not seen are in progress. Rear photo included.
More details. Next step is attaching the wings and putting any final details. I think I need to touch up her rear bikini lines, but that will mostly be hidden by the wings.
Meanwhile, time to adjust the size to better get a feel for when the wings are attached. It also helps to hide the mistakes, does it not?

Assembly time. This picture is exceptionally blurry. This is because I did a quick photo from my cellphone although it is in my diffuser box and I did brace the camera before I took it. This is partially because I wanted not to see the problem parts that came about from gluing. (Although the missing paint spots appear only on the rear and not in the photo.) It is also because I wanted a blurry shot to make a cute stained glass version that might even get a G rating. (Click on picture to get the stained glass version.)
