just a quick question

has anyone got any tips or tricks regarding painting uruk-hai in nmm?

How would uruk-hais be different than anything else? There is no uruk-nmm, as far as I know... Just don\'t make it too shiny.

I would keep it dark and add small specks of white.. and do rust as well.

I think this article might help for a dirty look.. just do a rust colour instead of the red. Like schorchedbrown stippled with vermin brown and maybe even some fiery orange mixed in. Then do the NMM effect on top of that. http://www.coolminiornot.com/article/aid/455

I know it isnt one of the fully armoured guys but i like the look of this mini.What do you think of it.Im just trying to get it to work on the bigger guys though.

That looks pretty good! The sword is perhaps a wee bit too shiny for an uruk, but still it works. Don\'t do the armour on the other guys that shiny though... The feet seem a bit messy, perhaps you should have spent an extra 10 min on those. The piece of slate... is that painted? It looks unpainted from the photo. It\'s always better to paint any real rocks or twigs or something you put on the base as it brings it down in scale to better match the mini...

DrE did a troll for Oz GD. I think it was in NMM. It was very grubby and probably has the look you after.

Hi,
sorry for the double post there have been a few updates.
1) i have done a few changes on my berserker linky

2) apolagies for the pic on thisone but its my first Uruk.please try to ignore the cloth skin and face these arent completly finished.Its the armour mainly linky
