I picked up the new Catalog today and after looking through it found some very interesting points of interest for collectors. First ofcourse alot of things that were prviously available are not present, thats expected. But what was not expected was all the old miniatures that are now avaible. Alot of these have not been offered in the US for many, many years. and some codes havent been offered even from UK Mail order for some time. I didnt see any posts about this, so I thought id let you all know whats old/new (new/old) in the US.

-Marneus Calgar, Lord of Macragge (Vinette)
-Tyranid Sqig 2
-Tyranid Sqig 3
-Bugmans Cart
-Dwarf Engineers (pick axe4, cook, pick axe 8, blow tortch, tools, wheelbarrow, pick axe 2, pick axe 3, + more )
-Dwarf Adventurers (wizard 4, samurai, ratcatcher, ninja, stillts, map reader, hunter,

no you see most of these figs were originly released in the early eighties. half of the ones i mentioned have no function in any current GW game. the fact that they published them in a full color semi annual cataloge points towards them not being a limited clearance supply. GW US doesnt stock pile thousands of pieces of each fig, they have enough on hanf to meet thier demand and produce more as needed. these figs werent suddenly \"found\" in a crate somewhere, thier mold have been reactivated.

This is cool. I thought it was a laugh, but now that they have some of those things, it might be worth buying. I like the old stuff. Maybe some one can share the codes and save the rest of us the $30.;)

I think my all time favorite of GW stuff is the classic \"giant ogres\'. I have about 4-5 of them now, and would love to fill that range.

I sure hope these are the same ones I like.

Like these! Taken from THE STUFF OF LEGENDS website.

It is good to see the old stuff make a reappearance, I have all tthose Ogres in the picture and one or two of the Dragons have still survived in my collection as well but there is soe stuff there that is very interesting. I love the old seated Marneus model from RT I think though it has been available over here for some time.
Interesting though that the Genectealer patriarch is listed as I don\'t recall seeing that on my last browse through the back catalogue at GWHQ.

Its somewhat good news as if gives alot of people a chance to pick up some of the cool classic models.

However ALOT of the stuff that is mentioned ( I havent seen the whole cat yet ) has been available through the UK online store as far back as 2003 if I recal, I remember seeing alot of the marauder ogres being on the search back then.

The genestealers and stuff im not sure about, what I WOULD love to see...them re release as much of the marauder line as they can, mostly undead and empire stuff first if possible.

I loved marauder and its style soooo much its a real shame GW stopped this, I know the morisons are still sculpting but its just not the same without marauder being there, I considered it the \"deluxe\" ranger of WFB back in the day!

On a side note, has anyone noticed that Mordheim figures seem to a have tad smaller \"Scale\" then the standard lines and even sometimes more detail ? I find they do have this sorta classic darker feel to them over the WFB uber large weapons etc.
