Using slate on bases

If that\'s the case perhaps I can sell you on using soem 5 minute epoxy? Much stronger than GS or Superglue in my opinion, and it\'ll only cost you 5-10 min. while it sets. And you can hold the mini in place while watching TV or something...

I use a product called JB Kwik Weld, I don\'t know if it\'s only sold in Canada or not. I have a friend who is a heavy duty mechanic for the Canadian Military and they use it quite a bit for field repairs and stuff. Strong stuff!

yea i know I should have used some epoxy, but I didn´t have any at the time, and it really was a question of getting the base done or throw it at the wall - hard

This model was based using rolled out super sculpy which I then baked and broke up with a hammer then painted to give the slate effect.

Ah! That was what I was thinking of! I wonder if it works with Magic Sculp too? I should experiment...
