It has been a while since I posted anything. Photography is still the bane of my existance - but when I hold her up to show everyone, no one seems to see her. ;)

What amuses me most is when she is compared to the first valkyrie I did when I came back to painting 2 years ago.

This one was done before I found CMON and dared to experiment with the techniques I saw here and elsewhere on the web. I was proud of her until I saw the artwork here. Then I knew there was alot of improvements to be made!

I paint my thumb.
I really like the turquoise on her clothes and the NMM works well too, but the skintones are a bit too monotone and would need more highlights, highlights on the hair look odd also.

I think you did a really good job on the transparent cloth. Overall it looks really good, but I do agree that the skin could be brought up with an extra highlight, but not to extreme. The base is shnice too
