Vallejo Airbrush

I don't have that particular airbrush but I've got one of H&S's higher end brushes and it's excellent. For all I know, H&S is a great brand. Still, I would probably get an airbrush separately, and then buy the paints I need instead of a set.

It is an Harder & Steenbeck Ultra. The brand is really good, amongst the best, and IMHO are the simplest airbrushes to mantain and clean thanks to the floating nozzle. Even more, the nozzles and needles are shared between most of the other airbrushes of the company (such as the infinity and the evolution), so the spare parts are relatively easy to find. Perhaps you will find more information searching a review for the Harder & Steenbeck ultra.

I agree with Ritual.
I've tried it, and it performs as most other H&S airbrushes. That said, I would probably buy a separate airbrush instead, and if your mind is set on H&S, I would go with the Evolution instead.

I agree with you...

Thanks everyone, now I know what to search for.

I'm still in the pre-pre-pre planning phase as far as airbrushes are concerned, this one seemed like a good place to start because it came with the paints. I haven't had much luck thinning my own paints in the past, but I guess I should probably buy the paints seperately.

I know theres a lot of beginners airbrush guides out there, now I just gotta read em all.

Thanks,

I just got an airbrush and it's a whole new world, in a Great way!!! I got a Badger 105 with the compressor and bought some Vallejo air Color paints. Vallejo makes a thinner for the airbrush and it's super easy to use to make your own paints. Just use that like 1:1 with your paints and go from there.

I have no clue what I was doing for the past few years with out an airbrush...
