Vallejo Model Air Matte Varnish

Hi all CMON people

I guess we all have tried looking for the ultimate varnish, you need look no more! (in my opinion at least)
VMA Matte Varnish through an airbrush is the best varnish I\'ve tried yet. There are a couple of headers though so I thought maybe I should share my experience with VMA Matte Varnish with you all :)

First of all, thin it. I used Vallejo Thinner simply because it\'s what I had and I have heard that water sometimes makes Matte varnish glossy (for some odd reason). When I didn\'t thin it made the paint kind of chalky. It didn\'t seem as smooth as it did before the layer of varnish. This may be something else also so let me know if you\'ve had something like this happend to you models as well. When I think of it it might have been the fact that I turned a fan on because the room started to smell funny lol Because of the varnish of course!

I\'ll show you some pics so you can see the result and maybe help me troubleshoot a little bit :)

Rev told me he uses krylon crystal clear beneath which probably is a good idea because it gives more protection. I didn\'t have any at the moment so I can\'t tell you how big a difference it makes.

Hopefully somebody else have tried VMA Matte Varnish and can help me find some solutions to my trouble :)

Sorry Mate, can\'t make out much of anything in those pics.
Perhaps a Glossy and a Matte version side by side might be better.
