Vallejo paint prices

Laura (girfriend) decieded that she would buy me the vallejo paint set case for xmas today. Im going to Rome just before xmas so i can pick one up there but its €180 which is roughly £120/$230, but iv been doing a little digging about on the net and found this:

which are only £110/$210/€164 with free P&P, but has anybody ordered from these before? And is there any better deals on the net? O and what the difference between the two sets on that site? I think one is military colour?

I\'m not sure exactly which paints are included in each set, but I would be willing to bet on that the \"popular\" paint set is better for your needs as the other one would be quite limited to military stuff (I bet you wouldn\'t have much brighter colours in it). There will probably be colours in both sets that you won\'t use very much and probably also a few colours that you will miss, but I think you will have more of both those issues with the military set (unless you plan to switch to military models, of course... ).

I don\'t know much about prices on sets, since I\'ve bought all my paints separately.

Though he is in the US daloonieshaman@yahoo.com has great stock and prices on Vallejo paints. I paid $1.93us each for a set of VGC from him.

He has a presence on eBay but I suspect you might get them a little cheaper if you contact him directly.

Agre with MPJ there Daloonieshaman is great and I have bought plenty of stuff of him and had it posted to our humble little island and had absolutely no probs..

I\'m like Ritual bought all my paints seperately as I need them found that a better way.
There is a Polish Fella (I think) on ebay at the moment that let\'s you construct your own set..Just search for Vallejo Model colour on ebay and he will show up.

I think il probably just go with the link generulpoleaxe put up. I don\'t really know all the exact colours i want but the case will probably have more than enough for me to paint with. Cheers for the reply\'s.

I have used this guy before, bought the whole range of paints.

Good service, nice discount and fast delivery.

Made one mistake on my order, sent 2 german grey instead of a dark grey, had the mistake fixed in 2 days and told me to keep the extra german grey!

So i had no problems at all with empire and had no problem getting him on the phone also, which is always good

Yea iv ordered them tonight (well Laura did). Under £100 seemed pretty cheap to me and it had free delivery because it was over £50. Thing is they will be sitting there until xmas and i won\'t be aloud to touch them ggrrrrrr!

That is a good deal. the wifey got me one for my birthday in July and it cost US$150. I dont know how much that is in pounds of sterling... but it was a great gift! BTW it was VGC, not VMC still a good deal to me since I had never used any line of Vallejo before.
